This is an initial ACLS class for RMC staff and local First Responders. It will take place on March 12th and 13th. (our website says 12th through the 13th).
Please read the informational letter below if you haven’t already received a copy via email.
We will be meeting at Crown College in Classroom W 243 on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to review the principles of ECG monitoring. This day will include an opportunity for you to demonstrate high quality CPR and practice the ACLS algorithms in a simulated environment.
On Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 1:00 p. m. we will again meet in the room W 243. Agenda for this day includes reviewing videos from the American Heart Association on Advanced Cardiac Life Support. To complete the requirements for certification, there will be a written test (70% pass rate required-open book) and a demonstration of competency through simulation.

The ACLS pre-assessment test must be completed online before attending class. See website address above or find the website address located in the new ACLS book on the second page.
Please print the certificate and bring it to class with you. You need to obtain 70% on the pre-test. You may take the test as many times as needed.
